Absolutely loved my recent stay at Orkney Lux Lodges - Hamnavoe! From the moment I entered, I was greeted with a charming and small lodge that made me feel instantly welcomed. The owners had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with local goodies and even left pink carnations for a lovely touch. The deck with a clean hot tub and beautifully crafted lounging chairs provided the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the stunning view. The lodge itself was spotless, well-decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. And let's not forget the incredible view! Waking up to morning coffee overlooking the water was truly magical. The location was superb, with easy access to Stromness and a short drive to explore Neolithic Orkney. Can't fault this place at all, it was well worth the price. I highly recommend Orkney Lux Lodges - Hamnavoe for an unforgettable experience.

The villa with a patio and sea views was absolutely stunning! I felt like I was living in a dream with the breathtaking views of the sea. The living room in the villa was so cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bedroom was so peaceful and I had the best sleep in the comfortable bed. I loved having a flat-screen TV in the villa, it was great to unwind and watch my favorite shows. The equipped kitchenette made it convenient to prepare meals and the microwave and fridge were handy. The hot tub in the bathroom was a luxurious touch, allowing me to relax and soak in style.

Personally, I found the shower in the villa with a terrace and sea views a bit small.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines wunderschönen Parks und auch in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums. Die Lage mitten im Zentrum der Stadt ist großartig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, mit vielen Details wie frischer Kresse zum Rührei und frischem Ingwer beim Tee. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

As a satisfied guest at the Orkney Lux Lodges, our stay was a delightful retreat. The cheese, butter, fudge, and bread waiting for us upon arrival were a thoughtful and tasty touch. The spa and pool were relaxing amenities, and the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the location, with a lovely view of the sunset in the morning.

Free parking - luckily I found a spot! Mountain views were breathtaking, and the WiFi worked long enough for me to post a pic. The terrace was nice to sit on, even if I had to share it with a seagull.

Had to hike too far to find the hiking trails.

I got great value for my money at Orkney Lux Lodges - Hamnavoe. The lodge was beautiful and private, with amazing views over Stromness bay. The staff treated me with kindness and even left some local goodies and flowers to welcome me. The location was perfect, with a short walk into town and easy access to explore Orkney mainland.

The breakfast option could be improved with a cafetiere instead of the Nespresso machine.

I recently stayed at Orkney Lux Lodges - Hamnavoe during my transit in Stromness and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the nearest airport being only 29 km away from the accommodation. It made my travel experience much smoother and less time-consuming.

While my overall experience at Orkney Lux Lodges - Hamnavoe was great, I did encounter a minor inconvenience. I would have preferred a cafetiere instead of the Nespresso machine provided in the room.
